Question for SloppyJoe2: Then you tell me why when there were two people needing blood transfusions(two years ago) in a hall over here, the hospital liason committee elder told both families to just give them blood and not to say anything to anyone about it. The patients were a new born baby and a mother.

Yet an hour away in a neighboring congregation, a mother had given birth and needed blood(which was already public) and they let her die. There was no favortism there. I think more and more you will see and hear of these type of stories because the society doesn't want their names attatched to what's going on in the congregations. They just want their donations and ownership of all the kingdom halls. Hence, you will see more elder idiots taking it upon themselves to be a law to other brothers and sisters lives. They will have to stand on their own with out the society's help if reported.

And if it's gone public then you will see all the elders and society stand far far away from that victim saying too bad too bad.

Looks like the evil slave is just a warning for now but if those sluggish door to door tablet pushers don't pick up pace in their ministry then, that evil slave will become them in a few years. It will be as though they are apostates if they don't up their hours. I see some more changes coming for those poor sluggish lazy publishers.

I sent the link to my seventy year old sister who special pioneered and pioneered for over fifty-five years and although she will not write me or talk to me she finally responded with where did you find this and she loved it ever so so much.

You got to be kidding me. I thought she had more brains than that. That totally surprised me. Oh well, at least I finally got to hear from her. I guess I will need to send her more videos but not of that sort. Sheesh!

At 53 seconds he flips his flimsy plastic bible open and you see the scripture he has to read highlighted in yellow. There are quite a few religions that frown on any writing or highlighting in bibles and this mouth full of marbles makes sure he offends those ones. And I just knew they would have a music video put on.

i stumbled on to this on youtube.. i began watching it.

at first i thought it was funny.. then, something changed.

i began to realize two things.. first of all, there are 2 sides to this, and both sides have a point.. if law enforcement does not have a legal right to stop and question you .

Even when you tell them the truth, they don't seem to want to believe you. We were crossing over into the States and told them we were getting gas and stopping for a coffee and then coming back over into Ontario. They made us get out of our vehicle and sit in a room with four other scary looking guys for three and a half hours in a tiny room. Then, we were allowed to leave.

Watchtower encouraging members to go and preach in Israel

an odd letter was read at last nights' meeting.

it was in regards to a special campaign for next year arranged by the governing body to go and preach in israel.

the call is going out to anybody that speaks hebrew and english.

Wasn't there youtube videos posted where the witnesses were in a gym or building and there were rocks being thrown through the windows at them????

We were introduced to someone's bible study at one of our last conventions that we had attended and they were from Israel taking courses at a university up here. The wife had stated that when she goes back home to her country, they will not be able to preach there like it is here and that we should be grateful to have the freedom that they are not allowed to have there.

Now all of a sudden the sisters are good enough to go and risk their lives. Honest to god this religon has no boundaries when it comes to their greed. WOW!!!

it is expected that at the 2014 annual meeting, usually held the first saturday in october, will serve watchtower leaders well to cover-up all the 100-years of prophetic nonsense.

rumor has it they are going to celebrate their 100-years of announcing the kingdom in an adroit way by featuring a move of "great" significance to do with the expansion of the governing body to an "apostolic" 12 or some other fantasy idea.. .

12 earthly apostles plus 12 heavenly = the 24 elders in heaven sitting around the throne. Let me guess, they will make Rev 4:4,10;5:8;11:16;19:4 all about them. Oops, also forgot Rev 19:5 - "Be praising our God, all you his slaves, who fear him, the small ones and the great. (Domestics and anointed ones=slave)

I use to say to my husband that they are so arrogant, I'm surprised they aren't calling themselves the twelve apostles. Doesn't surprise me. You have Mark, Stephen, Samuel, David ect,,, Now they will be picking their candidates on first name basis to match the names of the apostles as well. And that will be the only credentials required. Oh, and that they can count up to twelve!

I am sooo screwed

so last night i was talking to my sister about how i admired president obama's speech to the u.n that happened earlier that day.. i then compared the extremism of isis to how much of a fanatic my jw bil is.. at the end of the statement , my mom walked in to the kitchen.

she was standing in the living room and she heard everything i said.. she called the elders that night to tell them what i said so they can counsel me.. i'm going to meet with them after the meeting on sunday!.

what do i do?!!!!!.

Tell them since their faithful and discreet slave is invisible like jesus ruling since 1914, then you want your judicial committee to be invisible as well. What? That's impossible? Or don't you believe my judicial committee can be invisible? Get offended and hurt and tell them your stumbled. Why is it ok to believe their twist on the scriptures but not the other way around? When you go to miss meetings then tell them you were there every week, invisibly. Then puke on their shoes invisibley.
